Belovedness Prayer

O Lord, my God,

draw me again into the stillness where You dwell.
In the silence between breaths,
let me remember that I am Yours.

You, O Holy Spirit,
are the breath that fills my emptiness.

You, O Christ,
are the Word that speaks within the quiet of my heart.

You, O Father,
are the ground of my being
and the home of my soul.

I am Your beloved child.
I am seen and heard by You, O God.
Formed from dust, yet filled with Your breath,
I bear Your image and Your glory.

I am not lost,
for You are Immanuel, God with us.
You are here,
and I abide in You.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew within me the joy of being Yours.

Empty me of striving.
Quiet the voices that hurry me,
the fears that drive me,
and the need to prove myself.

Teach me again the stillness of Mary, O Jesus:
to sit,
to listen,
to receive,
to love without hurry.

Let my presence become prayer,
my silence become listening,
and my words, few and full of grace,
be born of You.

Spirit of Life,
breathe in me again,
that I may rest in Your peace
and move through this world from Your love.

I am beloved.
I am seen.
I am heard.
I am held.
I am free.

I am Yours.
And I am home in You, O God.

Amen.
